GeoPro LBS Inc. Now Provides Organizations the Flexibility to Monitor GeoPro Messenger Users Within Familiar Esri ArcGIS℠ Online Maps

GeoPro™ latest release features expanded on-line mapping support.

Toronto, Ontario - January 20, 2011GeoPro LBS Inc., now offers a broad selection of Esri ArcGIS Online map services options in the most recent release of GeoPro’s web monitoring application. Users can view communications and GPS data from GeoPro Messenger devices mapped on to a variety of ArcGIS Online maps including, Operational Navigation Charts (ONC), Topo’s, World Imagery, Shaded Relief, Terrain and Street Map options. Support for the United States National Grid (USNG) is also included in this latest version.

From the most remote regions on earth to the oceans and airways, the GeoPro Messenger device enables users to activate and confirm emergencies; compose, address and exchange text messages; capture and send geo-tagged data and send automatic location updates at preset and/or user initiated intervals.

By logging in to the secure web application employers can monitor remote workers’ status and communications in near real-time and take proactive action as required. The GeoPro Messenger device and web application are easily configured to reflect internal policies and workflows.
